Recertification Criteria
CERC's professional development recertification program is a means of ensuring that certified individuals are kept up-to-date on the latest relocation procedures and techniques. You must be re-certified every 3 years in order to maintain your professional designation as follows:
A "CERC Relocation Specialist™" must accumulate 20 continuing education credits over 3 years and pay the fee of $125 + GST upon renewal to maintain the right to use the title.
A CERP™ must be a CERC member in good standing, accumulate 30 continuing education credits during the 3 year period, and pay the fee of $125 + GST upon renewal to maintain the designation.
There are 2 renewal dates per year: June 30th and December 31st. You have 3 years from either June 30th or December 31st of the year in which you passed your exam, whichever falls immediately after your exam date, to obtain all recertification credits.
