2009 Highlights
December 2, 2009 marked the holiday get-together for the Pacific region.  Nearly 25 people came out to network and enjoy some festive cheer. Thank you to all that were able to attend, and a special thank you to Pacific Coast Accommodations for sponsoring the hors d'oeuvres.

September 10, 2009 saw nearly 25 individuals attend the "Does Your Current Talent Deployment Include Risk Management" session in Vancouver. Steven Coull of CNAREA, Bruce Sprague of Ernst & Young, and Linda Ward O'Farrell, CERP of Ward O'Farrell Consultants spoke on how people can optimize the effectiveness of their mobility programs while reducing the financial risks to their corporation. On March 31, 2009, nearly 25 delegates participated in the "Housing Trends Update: Dealing With Today's Reality" event, which focussed on the state of the housing markets across Canada and in the Pacific Region. 2008 Highlights
On June 5, 2008 over 40 delegates participated in the regional Symposium... Canada's Future Workforce: Implementing Solutions for a National Dilemma. This event was the third to be held across Canada, and featured representatives from government and business, who came together to discuss the complex challenge of talent shortages and an aging workforce. Upon completion of the series, CERC will create a White Paper, which will also be made available to CERC members. On March 7, 2008 over 14 delegates came to learn how to "Integrate Foreign Workers".  Lionel Laroche, PhD, PEng spoke about what foreign workers need to learn in order to integrate into Canadian organizations, as well as how organizations bridge the gap.
