Re-certification Criteria

CERC's professional development re-certification program is a means of ensuring that certified individuals maintain current knowledge of the latest relocation procedures and techniques. You must be re-certified every three years in order to maintain your professional designation as follows:

A "CERC Relocation Specialist™" must accumulate 20 continuing education credits over three years and pay the fee of $125 + applicable taxes upon renewal to maintain the right to use the title.

Canadian Employee Relocation Professionals (CERP™) and Canadian Global Mobility Professionals (CGMP) must be a CERC member in good standing, accumulate 30 continuing education credits during the 3 year period, and pay the fee of $125 + applicable taxes upon renewal to maintain the designation.

There are two renewal dates per year: June 30th and December 31st. You have 3 years from either June 30th or December 31st of the year in which you passed your exam, whichever falls immediately after your exam date, to obtain all
re-certification credits.
