Leveraging Cultural Diversity to Thrive in a Changing World 

 

Dr. Milton Bennett

 

After over 40 years as an academic, researcher, speaker to global organizations and hub of the intercultural community in the USA, Milton Bennett is generally recognized as a major thought leader in the intercultural field. In 2006 he founded the Intercultural Development Research Institute (IDRI) in Milan. Dr. Bennett is well-known for his Developmental Model of Intercultural Sensitivity (DMIS). The framework explains how people experience and engage cultural difference and is used internationally to guide intercultural training design and to assess intercultural competence.


David Trickey

Senior Partner and Head of the Organizational Impact Practice within TCO International. He focuses on elevating his client’s ambitions in global people development projects to imagine the opportunities which change can bring if we reinvent ourselves in response to an unpredictable world.  To date, he has designed and lead over 350 projects with 100 multinationals, often focusing on global talents and leadership teams. He is British but has been living in Italy for 25 years. He tries to maintain his sense of humor in the face of Brexit decisions.

Together, over the last 2 years, David & Milton have collaborated on an Intercultural Viability project, researching, developing and piloting the Intercultural Viability Indicator as a unique organizational tool and sharing its powerful implications at conferences internationally.
