The Regulations to administer the Prohibition on the Purchase of Residential Property by Non-Canadians Act came into force January 1, 2023. The regulations have significant implications for employers that hire temporary foreign workers or have intra-company transfers and for employers that have employee relocation policies.

On January 17, 2023, CERC and WERC hosted a webinar and over 500 people attended to learn more about the Act.
